Ahh, the life on the open road, how exhilarating is it to travel from point A to Point B on the asphalt road, that is until you get stuck in traffic and forget where you were initially going. I guess not being a teenager makes the whole driving a car thing a lot less of a big deal...And that point kind of suddenly hit me.

Ahaha, the exact same thing happened to me when I finally got my license, I think I was like 18, & I had no car... or friends that wanted to go places. :ohmygod:

I'm actually about the test for a 17 1/2 permit (meaning no classes required) next month, but I can't help but note the same problem. What will I do? Maybe I should just go to Costco and drive around the parking lot for funsies...

And when you get hungry, Costco has some nice cheap pizza.

Next time you need to go shopping for art supplies... you're in luck!

When I got my first driver's license in Indiana, it took about an hour before I was being sent to do shopping errands for my family! When I got my second drivers licence in England, I didn't have a car at all to even sit in for a while, so you should count yourself lucky in those departments!

Actually, when I had a car and could drive, I LOVED it. I drove friends around, took every opportunity to be the driver when we went out for food and stuff, drove to school... PARKING was the thing I didn't like. Sometimes looking for a parking spot is just nearly impossible.

But DRIVING, aaahhhhhhhhhh... I work at U-haul too so I drive a lot there. XP If all else fails with my plans, I decided being a taxi driver would be awesome... Or a cross-country truck driver. :dummy:

Paying for gas sucks though. v.v;

I'll probably end up doing what you do and be a chauffeur in the friend group. And yes, paying for gas sucks. :/

Thats a good plan. If you act chauffeur you can charge them a bit for gas money. That way you wont have to pay so much. XP
